We are raising money four our 9th annual Back to School Backpack & Supplies Giveaway event on August 3rd, 2025.

Our goal this year is 2000 backpacks filled with school supplies. We have given away over 16,000 backpacks filled with school supplies since 2016.

Remember your first day back to school? The excitement? Your new haircut, new backpack, all new school supplies? You were ready to crush the school year!

Well not all children are this fortunate. Many children don’t have the luxury of a new backpack and school supplies, of having that fresh new haircut or style. Our goal is provide these basic needs to children who simply can not afford these things that were so readily available to us.

Every child deserves to start the school year off right by getting a fresh haircut, a new backpack, and all the school supplies they need to make this school year a successful one.

We also provide volunteer hairdressers that give the children a fresh haircut or some braids to get ready for the school year.

We also provide a hot meals courtesy of Ocean Manor Hotel & Casa Calabria.
