This is our 8th annual Backpack & Supplies Giveaway Event!
Going back to school is never easy especially when you’re not prepared. We want to make sure these children have the tools they need to be successful. We also provide free haircuts, Hair braiding, and a hot meal the day of the event
On July 28th, 2024 at Sunrise Middle School (11am-6pm) we will be providing 2000 Backpacks filled with school supplies to children in desperate need to set them up for a successful school year.
The COST to provide a BACKPACK filled with SCHOOL SUPPLIES for A CHILD for an ENTIRE YEAR is $100. You can donate a lower amount if $100 is not in your budget. Every amount helps; it all adds up.
How Many Children do you want to help?
1 CHILD = $100 DONATION
Donations over $500 will put you at a sponsorship level and we will need your logo. Please email Logos to Brooke.waltzer@yahoo.com
As a sponsor you may set up tents with your employees, pass our branded material, bring your whole team and showcase giving back to the community for social media. Call me and we can tailor something specific to your brand 954-242-6627
We are only able to do this by receiving generous donations from our community partners and independents donors.
100% of the donations go directly to buying the supplies for the children. We do not take salaries or compensation in any form! We do not have employees! We are 100% volunteers and do this out of the goodness of our hearts because these families really need our help.

Child must be present!
Bring Child’s school supply list!
One backpack per Child!
Event July 28th, 2024
DAY OF THE EVENT
Each child will get to pick a backpack of their choice.
Children will go through the line picking up the necessary items that are o their school supply list.
We provide FREE haircuts & hair braiding
We provide a hot meal (for children only)

If you would like to Volunteer July 28th, 2024 at the Backpack Giveaway event please click the link below. Volunteer duties include settings up, breaking down, passing out backpacks and supplies, serving food, directing people within the building. We are also looking for hairdressers and hair braiders.
